A custom calendar is a calendar in which the user or end buyer selects what images, colors and other variants he or she will put on the calendar based to his or her own choosing. Kick things off right with a custom yearly calendar, a calendar in which you do not have to conform to a set of images which somebody already predesigned and pre selected for you that may or may not reflect your personal preferences.

You should choose each month’s image to be something that inspires you to do something or to be in motion you can search on google’s image search for some help. The image can be anything as long as it appeals to you.

Set important dates such as holidays and birthdays and even vacation time on your custom calendar as it will come in handy for remembering them. As they say you don’t want to be caught with your pants down.

Set it and forget it, not quite. See if you mark special days and holidays on your calendar it’s not enough to keep you from forgetting or keeping track of those days you need to be in constant contact with your calendar so place it near your bed or somewhere visible that you will run into on a daily basis.

Personally I place mine near the door of my bedroom that way I see it when I walk out of my bedroom, of course I own multiple calendars, I have one in my bedroom which is the one I just mentioned and one in my office next to my desk so I can write stuff as soon as it is given a specific date. I am usually in my office when this happens so that’s why I placed it there. I also recommend using personal planners for those times when you are on the go and nowhere near you calendars or office.

Of course you can do all this with the latest smart phones and all the cool apps that exist for them. But as it happened to me, technology has its glitches, my phone froze on me and all the data stored on it which was very important was lost.

There are solutions to this, like backing up your files or sync to your pc to prevent this, In the end it’s up to you if you want to go digital and spend a few hundred dollars for a smart phone plus activation and monthly fees or get a custom calendar made to your specifications for a few bucks, they both get the job done.

Or you can use them both together, it comes down to a matter of choice. Needless to say that they are extremely useful and valuable to keeping your tasks and goals on track.
